TeachMeTheBible is a nonprofit organization that exists for one purpose: to help the people of God understand the Word of God.
Many people view the Bible as a collection of inspirational quotes or a series of self-contained stories designed to teach life lessons. In so doing, they tend to stick to the verses and sections they enjoy and avoid the parts of the Bible that are confusing or problematic. Our goal is to change all of that.
The Bible is a collection of 66 books that tell one unified story from its first page to its very last. The individual books of the Bible should be thought of as chapters in a novel or scenes in a movie that all relate to and advance a single plot. It is through understanding that plot that you will find a “YOU ARE HERE” marker that identifies where you fit in the story as a current-day believer.
