Conference Speakers

David Klingler, ThM, PhD.
Dallas Theological Seminary/Host
David received both his ThM. (2004) in Bible Exposition and his PhD (2010) in Old Testament Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS). Currently, David is a professor at DTS in the Bible Exposition Department. Since 2004, David has taught Bible as well as the biblical languages (Greek and Hebrew) at Dallas Theological Seminary, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Word of Life Hungary, and the College of Biblical Studies in Houston. As well as being a faculty member in the Bible Exposition Department at DTS, David is also the PhD. Coordinator for the Bible Exposition program. David has also had several of his works published.
David graduated from Stratford High School in 1987 and the University of Houston in 1991. David was drafted in the first round of the 1992 NFL draft and retired from the National Football League in 1999 after six seasons as a quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders. David’s passion is making the Bible simple and understandable! David and his wife, Katie, live in Brenham. They have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter.

Caleb Foley Th.M
Pastor of Spring Community Church
Caleb Foley is an Adjunct Professor of Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary, where he has served since 2022 while completing his PhD in Bible Exposition. Caleb has also taught for Ethnos360 as well as Word of Life Bible Institute and is currently the Pastor of The Spring Community Church at Stanger Springs in Ben Wheeler, Texas, where he has served since 2014. Caleb has been married to Andrea for 9 years, and they have five children: Piper, Judah, Evie, Margot, and Remy.

Tyler Wilson
PhD Student, Assistant Director of DTS en Español
Tyler received his ThM (2023) and is a current PhD student in Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS), where he has also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for several years. In addition to his studies, Tyler is the Assistant Director for the Spanish program at DTS, serving as Academic Advisor for all the Spanish-speaking students at DTS and regularly teaching on behalf of various professors in the program. Tyler has also served as adjunct professor for DTS en Español’s Spanish Leadership Academy in the area of Bible Exposition, and has a desire to equip pastors and lay people in both English and Spanish-speaking contexts with the ability to study and know God’s Word. Prior to his current role at DTS, Tyler served as College Pastor for four years at Stillwater Bible Church in Stillwater, OK after graduating from Oklahoma State University. Tyler has been married to his wife, Michelle, for nearly seven years, and together they have a daughter who is almost 2, named Elena.

Warren Truesdale Th.M
Adjunct Professor at Dallas Theological Seminary
Warren is an Adjunct Professor of Bible Exposition at DTS and the Associate Editor of the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society (JETS). He has a ThM from DTS and is currently finishing a PhD in Bible Exposition. Warren and his wife Shelby met at an FCA meeting at Angelo State University, where Warren played football, and Shelby played volleyball. They have four kids. Warren previously served as a youth minister for eight years and is currently a Bible Teacher and Bible Department Head at Prestonwood Christian Academy North.

Alex Wolfe Th.M
Family Pastor of Champion Fellowship/Co-Host
Alex grew up in small-town Iowa but has also lived in Virginia, Kansas, and Texas. He and his wife Lindsay were married in 2012 and have two boys, Lochlan and Judah. Since 2006, he has served in various ministry roles, including Worship Leader, Life Group Leader, Youth Leader, Graphic Designer, Media Ministry, and College Minister. Recently, he left his role as Young Adults and Young Families Pastor in Topeka, KS, to pursue a PhD in Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary. He received his bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Religious Studies with an emphasis in Jewish Studies in December of 2015 and a Master of Theology (ThM) from Dallas Theological Seminary in May of 2020. He has a passion for teaching the Bible and Biblical Theology and helping people reorient their lives around the story of the Bible for the glory of God.

Jason Coke Th.M
PhD Student, Graduate Teaching Assistant
Jason Coke grew up in Canada and earned degrees in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration. He worked as a consultant in the Middle East for nearly a decade, and his love for the international church and the Bible inspired him to attend Dallas Theological Seminary where he earned his Master of Theology. At the same institution, he is currently a third-year PhD student in Bible Exposition. He is married to his wife Joan and they have a son named Gabriel. Jason hopes to return to the Middle East to serve as a pastor and seminary professor.

Registration
Registration for conference attendees begins at 5:30 pm. You will receive Teach Me The Bible swag and other items to prepare you for the conference. Refreshments will be provided during the conference.

There will be two sessions that will kick off the conference.

Following the first day of the conference, we welcome attendees to stick around for a night social with desserts, coffee, and refreshments.

Remember to bring your tags to get back into the conference. Refreshments will be available when arriving back at the beginning of day two.
Morning Main Sessions
There will be worship and three main sessions in the morning before lunch:

Lunch will be provided as a part of your registration.
Breakout Sessions
After lunch, you will have the option to choose between two different breakout session opportunities. These breakout sessions are designed to help you study and understand the Bible as a story.
