Galatians (Chapters 3-4)

Paul writes in Galatians that a person is justified by faith in Jesus Christ and not by works of the law (Galatians 2:16). He recounts his confrontation with Peter, showing that the gospel applies equally to Jew and Gentile (Galatians 2:11–14). The law served as a guardian until Christ came, that we might be justified by faith (Galatians 3:24–25). In Christ Jesus, we are all sons of God through faith, and there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female—for all are one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:26–28). Those who belong to Christ are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise (Galatians 3:29).
