Genesis

The book of Genesis begins the biblical account of creation, humanity’s fall, and God’s promise of redemption. After sin entered the world, God promised that the offspring of the woman would defeat the serpent. Genesis then follows the generations of Adam and the patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph—through whom God established His covenant and promised blessing to the nations. The book reveals the beginning of God’s redemptive plan and the unfolding of His promises through the people of Israel.
