Torah In The Former Prophets

The Torah—Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy—forms the foundation for understanding the rest of the Bible. These books reveal creation, humanity’s fall, God’s covenant promises, and His law for His people. The historical books that follow, such as Joshua, Judges, Samuel, and Kings, continue this story as Israel lives in the land according to the covenant. The Scriptures consistently point back to the Law, showing that God’s Word provides the framework for understanding His works, His covenant, and His unfolding plan in the biblical narrative.
