Chapters 17 - 19

Leviticus 17–19 calls Israel to live as a holy people because the Lord their God is holy. These chapters contain commands concerning sacrifices, blood, sexual morality, worship, justice, honesty, and care for the poor and the stranger. God commands His people to love their neighbors as themselves, judge without partiality, and keep His statutes. These chapters show that holiness involves obedience to God in worship, relationships, justice, and everyday life.
