Chapter 27

Leviticus 27 concludes the book with God’s instructions concerning vows and things dedicated to the Lord. The chapter explains how people, animals, houses, and fields could be consecrated and, in certain cases, redeemed according to the values God established. It also addresses firstborn animals, devoted things, and tithes. Leviticus ends by affirming that these were the commandments the Lord gave Moses for the people of Israel at Mount Sinai.
