Chapters 16 - 18
Mar 8, 2026 • Alex Wolfe, David Klingler
Deuteronomy 16–18 records God’s instructions for Israel’s worship, justice, and leadership. The feasts of Passover, Weeks, and Booths were commanded so Israel would remember the Lord’s deliverance and rejoice before Him. Judges were required to uphold justice without partiality or bribes. Priests, kings, and prophets were to lead according to God’s Word, with kings commanded not to multiply horses, wives, or wealth but to read and keep the law. These chapters show that Israel’s worship, leadership, and justice were to remain faithful to the Lord and His commands.
