Chapter 7
Jan 14, 2026 • Alex Wolfe, David Klingler
Deuteronomy 7 calls Israel to covenant faithfulness by removing influences that would lead them away from the Lord. God reminds His people that He chose them not because of their strength, but because of His love and His promises to their fathers. The warnings against idolatry and compromise show that faithfulness to God requires trust in His power and obedience to His commands. This chapter teaches that God’s people are called to fear the Lord, remain devoted to Him alone, and live according to His covenant love.
