Chapters 4:35-41 & 5:1-20

Jan 13, 2026    Phil Porter, David Klingler

In Mark chapters 4–5, a striking contrast appears: the disciples struggle to understand who Jesus is, while demons immediately recognize Him as the Son of God. Through calming the storm and delivering a demon-possessed man, Jesus reveals His divine authority. These passages challenge readers to move beyond knowledge to true faith, respond with trust instead of fear, and share what the Lord has done. Mark reminds us that those transformed by Jesus are called to proclaim the good news to others.
