Chapters 27 - 28

Mar 8, 2026    Alex Wolfe, David Klingler

Deuteronomy 27–28 records the covenant blessings and curses given to Israel. The people were commanded to affirm the law, and blessings were promised for obedience to the Lord’s commands. These blessings included prosperity, security, and fruitfulness in the land. However, disobedience would bring curses such as disease, famine, defeat by enemies, and exile among the nations. These chapters show that Israel’s life in the land depended on covenant faithfulness to the Lord and obedience to His Word.
