Chapters 33 - 34

Deuteronomy 33–34 concludes the book with Moses blessing the tribes of Israel before his death. Moses then goes up Mount Nebo, where the Lord shows him the Promised Land, and he dies there according to the word of the Lord. Scripture records that Moses was 120 years old and that his strength and sight had not failed. Israel mourned for him, and Joshua led the people afterward. The book ends by noting that no prophet had arisen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.
