Chapters 23 -24
Mar 8, 2026 • Alex Wolfe, David Klingler
Deuteronomy 23–24 records laws for Israel concerning the assembly of the Lord, purity in the camp, marriage, justice, and care for others. Certain people were restricted from the assembly, and Israel was commanded to remain holy in their community. The chapters also include laws protecting marriage, workers, and the vulnerable, including foreigners, widows, and the fatherless. These commands show that Israel was called to live in holiness, justice, and compassion according to the Lord’s covenant.
