Chapters 25 -26
Mar 8, 2026 • Alex Wolfe, David Klingler
Deuteronomy 25–26 records laws that promote justice, fairness, and care within Israel. The chapter includes commands about fair punishment, honest treatment of workers, family responsibility, and the requirement for honest weights and measures. Israel is also commanded to remember the Lord’s deliverance and to bring the firstfruits of the land as an offering. In this act they were to recount how the Lord brought them out of Egypt and gave them the land. These chapters show that obedience to God includes justice, gratitude, and remembering His saving works.
